Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect
Customers: name, email, date of birth (for age check), booking details. Companions additionally: mobile number (private), city, profile information, and identity verification details. We follow data minimisation under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
2. What is never public
Phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, legal names and identity documents are never displayed on public profiles.
3. Identity documents
Identity and age verification of companions is carried out by authorised RentMyDate staff before a profile is approved. Documents are never shown publicly, are access-restricted to authorised verification staff and are deleted after verification as permitted by law. A licensed KYC partner integration is planned.
4. Purpose & consent
We process data only to provide bookings, ensure safety, prevent fraud, comply with law and provide support, based on your consent which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may request access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal, and nominate a person to exercise rights on your behalf. Contact support@rentmydate.in or +91 74799 13855.
6. Security & retention
Passwords are hashed, access is role-based, and data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law (e.g. tax records).
7. Payments
Payments are made in cash. We record only the booking amount, payment status, commission split and payout references. We do not collect card, UPI or bank credentials.
