RentMyDate policies
Terms of Service

1. The service
RentMyDate ("Platform") is an online marketplace that connects adults with independent, verified companions for platonic social activities such as movies, shopping, cafés, public events, sightseeing and friendly conversation. RentMyDate is NOT an escort, dating or adult-entertainment service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. We verify age and identity of companions before publishing profiles and may verify customers.
3. Prohibited conduct
Sexual services or solicitation, harassment, stalking, coercion, intimidation, intoxication-related misconduct, discrimination, requests to meet in private residences or hotel rooms, sharing of obscene content, and any activity illegal under Indian law (including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 and the Information Technology Act, 2000) are strictly prohibited and result in a permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement.
4. Bookings & payments
Prices are shown in INR (hourly rate × hours). Payment is in CASH only, at the meetup; nothing is charged online. Of every booking amount, 70% is the companion's share and 30% is RentMyDate's commission. Booking flow: request (Pending) → companion accepts (Accepted) → RentMyDate confirms (Confirmed) → meeting held (Completed). A payment is treated as received only after authorised RentMyDate staff record and confirm the cash collection. Taxes (including any GST) will be applied only as determined by a qualified tax professional.
5. Cancellations
Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Companions are independent
Companions are independent individuals and not employees of RentMyDate. They may decline any booking or leave any meeting that makes them uncomfortable.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, RentMyDate's liability is limited to the platform fee paid for the relevant booking. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Dumka, Jharkhand have exclusive jurisdiction.
